There is no parking at the start line.
Half marathoners are encouraged to park at the finish line take our complimentary shuttle/bus to the start line at Summit Vacation and RV Resort but you have a few options.
- Park at the finish and shuttle to the start. Shuttles will be running from 5 – 6:15 am. The last bus will leave at 6:15 am. Please plan accordingly.
- Free parking is available within walking distance to the finish line and bus loading area. You are encouraged to approach the parking area on Gruene Road from Loop 337.
- Paid parking ($10) is available close to the finish at Rockin’ R, 1405 Gruene Rd.
- Payment can be made in cash at the entrance, or via Venmo (@tworivershalfmarathon) at the entrance or in advance and show your payment when you park.
- Start at the start line.
- There will be a shuttle running continuously from Rio Guadalupe Raft Resort (14130 River Road) to the start line from 5:30-7 am.
- You can be dropped off at Rio Guadalupe Raft Resort and take the shuttle or walk/run the one mile to the start.
- There is limited parking at Rio Guadalupe (about 40 cars.)
- There will be one bus taking people back to Rio Guadalupe at 10:30 am.
Bag check will be available at the start line; bags will be transported to the finish line for your convenience.
Half marathon participants should use the bags provided at packet pickup. For safety reasons, backpacks and other opaque bags will not be accepted. Please do not put valuable items in bags if at all possible.
Nine (9) aid stations will be placed along the half marathon course, roughly every 1.5 miles.
Most stations will offer both water and Superieur.
Superieur (Lime Blueberry flavor) will be the official course of hydration and nutrition.
There will be bathrooms at the start and finish line of the half marathon and limited porta-potties along the half marathon course.
One first aid station will be on the course and another at the finish line.
Packet Pickup will be at the store on Friday, Nov 17 and Saturday Nov 18 only. No race day pickup is available for the half marathon.

Kids’ Fun Run

Race categories to include:
- 5 & Under
- 6 – 9
- 10 – 12
Children will receive colored armbands for their race category and will include one route for all three races with a second loop for the 10-12 age group. Parents should accompany smaller children.
We will have a Kid’s activity area as well with face painting, bubbles and chalk art.
$15 – includes shirt and medal
